This design technique transforms what are typically flat and sharp-edged materi als into a form that feels sculpted, tactile, and monolitic-appearing as if the piece were carved from a single solid block of stone, though it is meticulously assembled from thin marble sheets. This illusion of mass and softness is both a technical achievement and a design statement.
