“Monne – Sculpted Simplicity”
The name “Monne” (มน) stems from the Thai word for “rounded” or “soft edge,” referencing the distinctive, smooth, bullnose treatment of the marble slabs. This design technique transforms what are typically flat and sharp-edged materials into a form that feels sculpted, tactile, and monolithic—appearing as if the piece were carved from a single solid block of stone, though it is meticulously assembled from thin marble sheets. This illusion of mass and softness is both a technical achievement and a design statement.
